About This Blog: Privacy and Disclosures
Fellow-mom friends have told me at least once that they have started trying the products that I use for my son and are equally happy with the experience. Maybe they know how overly passionate (okay, maybe a bit obsessed) I am about raising my son that they figured, if that product passed my initial assessment (and they know I have serious trust issues too), enough to allow my precious son to try, then it at the bare minimum, it would be safe to try too. Those encounters made me think (and re-think) about what I post in my personal social media pages because, while I only rave about products that we personally tried and tested, I realize how unassuming posts can influence purchasing behavior, and I felt an overwhelming sense of responsibility and accountability. For years, I have been deliberating on whether I should publish my own blog site, until I realized that by delaying or withholding sharing our experiences, I am also unable to help fellow moms (and dads) to reap the same benefits, or prevent them from falling into some of the traps, that we have encountered.
This blog site is intended for parents of all ages who would like to learn about my family’s first-hand experience trying things, be it products or places, parenting techniques or house rules. I will be posting successes and failures indiscriminately. From time to time, I will also be writing life reflections as one of my main reasons for starting this blog is to have a repository of sorts for life lessons that I wish to pass on to my son for his reading pleasure when he’s older.
All ratings and opinions you will read on this page are solely personal, may be subjective at times because my son’s happiness meter will greatly affect my evaluation, never in pursuit of any commercial interest. In the future, I may agree to accept sponsored posts, press releases, event coverage or advertisements, but rest assured that every post will be real, honest, matter-of-fact and written by me.
